Day 01

Arrival in Puerto Maldonado & Transfer to Eco-Lodge

Our representative will pick you up from the Airport or bus station upon your arrival, after we will ride boat to our eco-lodge where we will accommodate you. Along the journey, enjoy views of the rainforest and possible wildlife sightings. After settling into your lodge, enjoy a guided walk through the surrounding jungle to learn about medicinal plants, insects, and local flora. In the evening, enjoy dinner and an optional night walk to observe nocturnal wildlife such as frogs, insects, and caimans.

Day 02

Macaw Clay Lick & Amazon Jungle Exploration

Early in the morning, travel by boat to visit the famous macaw clay lick, where colorful macaws and parrots gather to feed on mineral-rich clay. After breakfast, return to the lodge for guided rainforest hikes or canopy walks to spot monkeys, birds, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, relax at the lodge or explore nearby trails. At night, enjoy a guided boat excursion to search for caimans along the riverbanks.

Day 03

Lake Sandoval & Wildlife Observation

After breakfast, head to Lake Sandoval, one of the most beautiful oxbow lakes in the region. Canoe across calm waters while observing giant river otters, turtles, black caimans, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a peaceful walk around the lake and learn about the local ecosystem from your guide. In the afternoon, return to the lodge for leisure time or optional activities. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 04

Return Journey to Puerto Maldonado & Departure

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing the lodge by boat back to Puerto Maldonado. During the return journey, take in the final views of the Amazon rainforest and watch for wildlife along the river. Upon arrival in the city, you will be transferred to the airport or bus terminal for your onward journey, marking the end of your unforgettable Tambopata 4 Days Amazon experience.

    We included all the transportations during your tour, we will pick you up from airport or bus station, we include the boat ride towards our eco-lodge. After the tour, we will drop you off at the same place.

    We will provide you water from the first lunch to the last breakfast. This water will be filtered, boiled and cooled by our Chef. You must bring your own water container, bottle or camelback that can hold water for hiking for a few hours. We recommend a capacity of 2 liters.
