Our representative will collect you from the bus station or airport, then we drive to Titicaca lake where you will board the boat and navegate to Amantani island, while you approach the island, you will observe interesting families leaving in the lake, some of them are fishing and moving in small boats to transport from their houses to the city. The family in the island will give you a warm welcoming, then you you enjoy the traditional lunch with them.
Afterward, you will be accommodated at your room, rest a bit. In the afternoon you'll have a guided walk to explore the farming area and village paths. Hike to the ceremonial temples, Pachamama and observe the stunning sunset views. In the evening you will enjoy the typical dinner following by traditional music and dance.
Amantanai Island - Puno
After a delicious breakfast you will walk through the neighborhood lands and see the daily life of the locals, visit to local textile or craft areas where you can learn about the techniques and materials what they use for the weaving or making the potteries.
Later, we have the farewall of the host family and board the boat to ride to Puno. The tour finalize with the drop off at your hotel or at the bus station.

All tour guides are very well trained in First aid. They received training courses every 6 months how to assist to someone who is in an emergency situation. Also, they are trained how to supply a balloon oxygen in the case if someone requires it.

During the 2-day Amantani Island, every travellers need to pay the entrance fees, this can be pay it directly at the check point, S/ 10 soles per person, only cash is accepted.
Tips for our team
Tips are not included. Tipping the team is usual on any excursion in Puno, although we pay good salaries to our entire team, tips are welcome as a token of your appreciation for the team hard work.
