Peru Solo Tarvel is based in Cusco, Peru. The owner, Vidal Gamboa, was born in the Andes and has lived here his whole life. Since he was 15-years-old, he has worked in different tours in the Cusco region-- as a cook, then after studying tourism he became a tour guide, and also spent some years studying mountaineering in Huaraz. His native language is Quechua, as all native Andean people. Growing up in a small Quechuan village ignited his passion for hiking the surrounding mountains and exploring his heritage.
As a solo traveler, you get local expertise you can trust—people who actually live in Peru, know the culture, and understand the realities on the ground. That means better routes, authentic experiences, and help when you need it, not generic, one-size-fits-all tours.
You also travel with confidence. Logistics, safety, and planning are handled for you, so you can focus on enjoying the experience, challenging yourself, and connecting with Peru in a meaningful way. Whether it’s navigating a new city, exploring iconic sites, or discovering places most tourists miss, you’re supported every step of the way.
We hope to build a fully sustainable business that provides top quality service to the visitors while developing projects to provide opportunities of education for children and families in the Cusco region and be the support to help our brothers and sisters in small communities who lives aways of the tourist destinations. .
As the key to our success, we put into practice the following ethical values:
